What you are funding

Sponsored schools receive the same Field Notes: Explorer access schools purchase directly. There is no lesser sponsored version — how the access is funded does not change the educational quality.

Sponsor several schools, a community, or a region

Sponsorship uses the same Explorer school access pricing schools pay directly. Multiple schools are simple multiplication of that price — Odyssey does not publish volume discounts.

What sponsorship does not buy

Sponsors fund access. They do not purchase influence over the educational experience.

• Advertising or marketing to students
• Student contact information, student data or student accounts
• Teacher personal data or lead generation from classrooms
• Product promotion or commercial calls to action inside lessons
• Required product placement
• Scientist endorsements or scientific conclusions
• Curriculum, editorial or scientific control

Explorer does not require student accounts, and none are created for sponsorship reporting. Sponsors receive aggregate, privacy-safe information: schools funded, general geographic reach, access activated, scientist experiences delivered, and educator feedback or stories only where permission exists.

Recognition appears where it belongs — the sponsored school's access page, the sponsor page, this page, impact reporting and agreed program communications. It never appears inside scientist presentations, over scientific content, or on every screen. Recognition communicates gratitude, not advertising.

One Explorer ecosystem

An educator who introduces a business or organization that goes on to fund paid Explorer school access is handled under the existing Earn with Odyssey rules — $300 for paid 12-month school access, $100 for paid 5-month. No second referral program, no new amounts. Own-employer or purchasing-influence introductions keep the existing cash reward hold: the sponsorship still proceeds, the personal reward is reviewed separately.

There is no automatic or published volume discount. Every school is $1,997 for 12 months or $997 for 5 months — 10 annual schools is $19,970, 25 is $49,925, 50 is $99,850. Larger opportunities route to a custom partnership conversation and to Kirsten. Proposals are prepared at standard pricing; the system never invents or offers a discount.

Sponsored school names are private by default. A school or district is named publicly — in recognition, case studies, impact reports, the website, social media or marketing — only after that school or district's authorization has been recorded. Until then, reporting stays aggregate and privacy-safe, for example "12 schools funded across Michigan." No student names, student contact information or identifiable student data is ever provided to sponsors or used in public reporting, and recognition never implies that a school or district endorses the sponsor.
